As a 501(c)(3) corporation, KyCPE is governed by a board of directors.

The Board is the group legally and financially responsible for KYCPE operations: the buck stops here.

 

Directors are elected to rotating three-year terms to manage the legal affairs of the organization.

Dean Bondhus

Involved with KyCPE since 2006, Mr. Bondhus has held mulitple positions with the organization and was formerly a process engineering consultant with Humana.

Lead - Process Development 

 

Bob's background includes quality improvement, Lean, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Baldrige Examiner, Xerox employee.

John Simson
Secretary 

A quality and process improvement manager, Mr. Simson is an engineer with a background in industrial engineering, cost management, production, and quality. 

Chelsea Van Hook

 

Chelsea currently serves as a Program Officer with the Community Foundation of Louisville, where she leads management of the Alden Fellows leadership development grant program and fiscal sponsorship

Danny Siders​

Mr. Siders is President of his own company, I.B. Moore LLC, a manufacturing company and served for many years as the Treasurer for KyCPE.

Conley Salyer

Legal Counsel

Formerly Board Chairman, Mr. Salyer is not currently a member of the Board - he is legal counsel for KyCPE and manager of consulting services.​

President

 

David has a BSME from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Kentucky. Retired after 39 years at IBM/Lexmark in R&D, Procurement, Marketing, Sales and Quality. Quality roles entailed Certified Quality Engineer, Lead for Corporate ISO 9001 and HQ ISO 27001. Involved with KYCPE and Baldrige Framework since 2015.

William J. Ryan

 

William J. Ryan, PhD is the Principal Consultant with Ryan Consulting, LLC working with organizations to engage, develop, and retain their workforce using learning strategically.  His unique skillset includes academic, private industry, and government experience as VP of Education/CLO, VP of Technology/CIO, National Leader of Curriculum & Technology Solutions and Executive Director of a nationally known online, competency-based initiative.  In addition, he has been an adjunct faculty member teaching and designing courses for multiple institutions.

Justin Tillery, Treasurer

 

Justin has held leadership roles throughout the country within top Fortune Global 500 corporations such as KONE, ThyssenKrupp, Siemens, and currently Johnson Controls where his focus on quality and performance has produced significant financial business results. His business passions include leadership in energy and environmental design (LEED) concepts including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and quality efficiencies surrounding LEAN construction processes. 

Karen Dodd

Chief Performance Officer,

Commissioner's Office

 

Ms. Dodd is Chief Performance Officer, Commissioner's Office, Kentucky Department of Educaton (KDE). She is a certified Project Managment Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, and Certified Manager of Process Excellence.

Eric-Stephan Neill

Eric holds an BA from Nazareth College and MA from SUNY Albany, as well as professional certifications CSCP (APICS), PMP (PMI), ITIL Foundation and six sigma yellow belt (Lexmark).  Currently an enterprise architect for Lexmark International, Eric has previously held roles as Director Enterprise Lean, program and project manager, business process consultant, factory manager and application engineer.  Eric has been an examiner for KyCPE since 2014 and holds positions in local chapters of ASUG, PMI, APICS, and IIBA.

Brittany Cook
Lead - Marketing​

 

Brittany is a Licensed Professional Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Kentucky. She's a University of Louisville alumni, and has spent nearly 10 years advocating for health and justice across the state by working alongside numerous committees and fundraising for local non-profits. She has a passion for increasing performance and productivity among programs and policies.

Jon Stein

 

Jon is a veteran with a decade of management experience and currently works at Lowe's. He has achieved an MBA in management and strategy from Western Governors University. Jon is also a certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. He is passionate about the field of process improvement and continuous improvement. Jon has conducted research into collective intelligence and how it can integrate with the Theory of Constraints and Lean SIx SIgma. Jon is happily married and excited to be a part of the Kentucky Center for Performance Excellence
